For now here is a high level summary:
I last stayed here in 2014 and it remains in top form, with nice light refreshes here and there.
Some elements do reflect the hotel is 15 years old, but they aren't deal breakers (Items showing age; most AV, light switches, limited outlets)
All colleagues we interacted with genuinely cared and presented the hotel and brand with pride.
The limited electrical outlets was my biggest complaint. Certainly nothing major, but I just couldn't understand how a building this new, and particularly one which was outfitted with technology like smart switches everywhere, wouldn't have tons of electrical outlets.
Did you also use SNUs for the suite? When I was doing my searches, all of the non-Gold suites also seemed to have really nice SNU value.
Just looking at a random weekday in October, I'm seeing the following SNU rates. Those are some pretty nice deals. Which, sadly, is probably a sign they'll pull out of the SNU program or devalue the options like so many other hotels have done! It's getting harder to find good places to get good value out of SNUs like this.
