I recently got a JPM Reserve and used the website the other day to get some ideas for dinner (in California). Just emailed them directly, which is helpful given you can no longer email the Amex concierge.
They replied in a few hours, and then said they'd get back within a few days (about one business day). I got a nice PDF with 6 options. All seemed bookable myself via OpenTable, etc. but I went on the website and chatted and got them to book it, which took some back and forth to get my card verified for the reservation, etc but otherwise quite straightforward. Next time I'll probably book myself (that way I can more easily cancel the reservation) unless I can't book the reservation myself for whatever reason.
BTW the website is quite slow, which I noticed someone else call out a year ago. It looks pretty, but most of the links there just end up taking you to a contact form.
I also noticed that the website is serviced by Aspire, so was curious what kind of credentials concierges need to work there. If you go on their
careers page, and check out one of the Travel CSR job listings (
example archived here), it looks like they start at a near entry-level, $18/hr+ position. I'm sure they have a lot more senior staff (the company employs 1800+), quite a few partnerships, and a number of tips and tricks taught in training, but it kind of sets expectations that these concierges most likely won't replace a determined EA with years of experience. Still a really neat service, particularly when language is otherwise a barrier.
