I can see why it’s creating 787 scarcity in other hubs.
ORD serves a greater variety of long haul markets and that suits the 787 fleet better than the 777 fleet. On the question of fuel efficiency, it’s not the point to point distance that matters as much as the number of hours the a/c is utilized in the average day.
