I am planning to get the personal Hawaiian card from Barclays to get some 70k AS miles (eventually). It would be my first ever Hawaiian card from Barclays -- I did have the BofA card many years ago.
I currently have an old Arrivals card (No Annual Fee) and a 9-month-old Aviator Silver card (of course, started out as Aviator Red seven months ago). The Arrivals card is sock-drawered with nearly no activity. The Aviator Silver card has seen quite a bit of "action" in recent months.
Any reason (based on the Barclays history) that I wouldn't get approved for a Hawaiian card? Would it be better/helpful to cancel the Arrivals card first?
