To those who frequently go to / through LHR on AA metal: Do you find any correlation to the time of arrival in LHR with the likelihood of having to use a ‘remote’ (bussing) gate? Wondering if the later in the morning you arrive into LHR increases the chance of getting stuck with a ‘remote’ gate. Perhaps the 77W’s are prioritized for a gate due to pax capacity? Then it’s first-come-first serve for the 772 and 788s as to who gets remaining standard gate vs remote pad? I can’t think of any other factor that would impact the likelihood other than time of arrival.
