Hi All!

We're planning a 2-week trip to Portugal next year and want to rent a car. Given that we need an automatic transmission (don't ask...), the price differential between gas and electric is huge -- electric is less than half the price.

My concern is this: I've never rented an electric car in the US much less abroad. I have no idea how hard/easy it will be to recharge in Portugal. Can anyone advise if renting electric is a good idea? We'd be about 4 days in Lisbon, 3 days in Porto, and another 7 days in the countryside. We'd be renting with Eurocar if that makes a difference.
