I fail to understand why reimbursement of the hotel at PHL was rejected. Could it be that you made the claim in haste without specifying what you are actually claiming for? (one need to keep it short and concise when making such claims as not be misunderstood).
I asked for EU261 for the cancelled flight and compensation for the Hotel and the Car hire for PHL-BOS. I did not submit for anything else. I hope it was pretty clear to them.
