3 pm scheduled departure (showing 3:50 now) vs 1 pm so seems like more than just different equipment. Was able to rebook on noon DFW which was able to connect to my final destination TYS - wouldn’t have made it on the PHL flight.
That's the whole point of using a different flight number in these cases. Made it much easier for you to rebook.
