It used to be that specific routes-
SFO-AMS
SFO-CDG
SFO-MUC

all used to use 787s-- now it's being serviced by older aircraft like the 777. Does anyone know why that is ? Is it some range thing because of the Russian airspace restrictions or is it just they moved the planes to other routes for more efficiency. any idea when the 787s will be coming back?
I have no idea if this was a factor but UA swapped the ORD 777 base for a 787 base.
