Today featured more trains, and more time on them, yet felt so much easier than yesterday. That's probably a mix of getting into my stride, and the benefits of vastly superior Swiss scenery.
Tenero-Contra was chosen by relatively few participants, but I'm glad I was one of them - I don't think I've ever visited a dam before, nor would it have occured to me to do so. Just as with Bruges, I'm keen to explore each checkpoint, even if only a little. The trade-off seems to be that I can't really stop anywhere else, other than to sleep!
