To be precise it was MBNA issued card and we had the Amex and VIsa versions ( Visa for use where Amex not accepted ) .

MBNA and Amex parted ways and the card was closed in July 2018.

was a great card . MBNA then grandfatherd the mbna emirates card holders into the MBNA cashback credit card with zero overseas fees ( MBNA horizon). The 0.5% cashback covers the visa fees and so great for use overseas and no annual fees... It's still working for me.

As far as I know this card is not open to new applications..
