I stayed last year and I thought it was fine. The main sign of age in the rooms was the old bathrooms, but otherwise rooms feel fresh, their renovation was completed in 2020. Obviously you can see the age in other places, lobby, gym, lifts, pool, exterior, etc. I think someone on FT once called it the worst FS in the world, but that’s most definitely not true. It’s a good city hotel. I wouldn’t mind staying again, although might try the capella next time.
