Surely NZ also agree it’s a waste of our time, and their resources, to have elites phoning everytime they want to know if R class is available
I do wonder what proportion of elites do this though. My suspicion is it's small because quite often you have to fly on the dates you're flying so you're going regardless of R class being available. I've never called for R class but have always been able to use my RUs. I typically save them for the North American legs to J.
