I agree that they should display this information, but also feel strongly that they should offer it even in airports where post-security closes overnight. I usually prefer to pay for an airport hotel with an overnight layover longer than 6 hours, so I would book that flight even knowing that the airside is going to close.
Between this and the fuel stop thread there would pages of disclosures needed to handle just a few.
You as a purchaser are your own travel agent, not the airline. They sell a product, you agree to purchase. Do some research.
