We are supposed to be flying from PHX to YYJ next week with a change over in SEA. Due to a very sick pet, we may need to cancel the flight. I have read the rules specific to each of our segments and they all say they are non-refundable, but eligible for changes. We purchased the tickets in Dec 2023. I have read that if we cancel our flight and get the credits, that we have until our Dec purchase date to use them before they expire. Do we also need to fly before Dec or are we able to fly in 2025? There seems to be a lot of conflicting information on that point. Have a call in to the airlines, with a 2 hour wait and did the please call me back feature - hoping they do. In the meantime, I am hopeful someone here could set me straight on it?
