The thread title is misleading. Priority Pass hasn't "dropped" anything. It is the two credit card issuers, AMEX and Chase, which have removed the restaurant dining benefit from card member PP subscriptions. It's really not surprising if you think about it; the benefit was far too rich, and such benefits almost inevitably get cut.
