Is this usual now? On Saturday our train from London to Scotland was cancelled so we managed to get a (club) flight from LHR-EDI. As soon as he was released for duty the Cabin Manager (correct title?) appeared with a tray of glasses and a bottle of champagne and offered it to all passengers in the Club cabin. The normal drinks and food service followed and they managed it all even though the flight was only 55 minutes. At one point there were three cabin crew serving Club passengers. If the champagne offering a new perk or were we just lucky?
