A happy ending :-)

Arrived at T5 and went into the lost property office; explained what had happened and 20 seconds later he gave me my laptop! The Gold Card benefit did get the £25.00 fee waived, and after signing a piece of paper I was good to go!

The chap did laugh and mention the weekend resulted in quite some peculiar items being taken into their custody... namely a 65" TV (!) and two air purifiers; as well as a dozen phones and laptops!
