These flights are showing as having reward seat availability on AF/KLM website.
I don't know if I'm unlucky, but this is the same useless response I've had now three times over the past two years when trying to book partner airlines with points via the call centre.
Just tried again and once again nothing. KLM/AF website is showing even more availability now, hundreds of seats on AeroMexico just on the route I'm looking at but Virgin CSR couldn't find a single seat. She was adamant that it was an availability issue rather than an IT issue although admitted that she hasn't booked an AeroMexico reward seat for months.
