I'm happy with today's outcome: I got to enjoy Bruges before surviving trial by DeutscheBahn and covering most of Germany.

At the front of the pack, about a dozen teams had made it to Graz - the compulsory third checkpoint - by Sunday night, with the very fastest there mid-afternoon! The race organisers boarded a plane to Tirana in anticipation of imminent arrivals - although there's still the Balkans or the Adriatic to be crossed, which may slow progress.

As for my own efforts, I'm happy with my balance of pace and place. I can definitely reach a checkpoint tomorrow, but I have not yet planned when I'll leave, where I'll go, or how I'll get there...
