Booked MSP-YYZ on Air Canada using United miles.
Fare basis: YSM/S175H, Fare class ‘X’
One AC agent told me that in their system, the flight is showing as booked with Latitude fare and checked bag should be free.
However a couple of other agents told me that it may be showing as Latitude on their sode but as it is an award ticket and was booked with United, I will have to pay for the checked bag.
Need advice if anybody ran into this situation before. I do not currently have elite status or credit card with either UA or AC. United agent is also not sure and is suggesting that I will have to pay for the bags.
Is there any way to check what fare class my ticket is booked with..
