I was seating in 3E, so quite at the front; however, I was asked when I would like to take my meal right after take off, I said mid-flight (about 7 hours into the 15.5 hours flight), and my assigned FA just noted that on his iPhone thing, and then move on to the next passenger. Didn't even ask what I wanted to "save" for later. I read on the earlier post that someone mentioned they only catered 5 servings, but maybe since it's so new, Qatars would be catering for a full flight so that everyone can talk about it...exactly what we're doing right now. I got both starters but didn't really order dessert so I guess it balanced things out lol.
