I stayed at the Springhill Suites last night in Orlando by Universal Studios. I did Mobile Check in and got to the location around 1am when the night auditor was on duty. I noticed I didn’t get offered the welcome gift. I didn’t want to hassle the auditor that maybe checks in one person a night.
i’d make it known in the AM. However the FD reps basically ignored the terms and conditions of the welcome gift compensation. They showed little effort to resolve it. I’ll email the GM and have Bonvoy to open a case. Is it important to me? No. However I feel the need to push back when hotels aren’t following the Bonvoy terms and conditions. If u don’t than locations will feel the need they can just get away with it.
