Spent 3 nights at the SL a few weeks ago.
- Great view from our suite on the 31st floor (at least from the living room)
- bathroom lacking - only one sink and a small shower and mediocre towels.
- horizon club was great. Terrific space and staff, food presentations solid for breakfast and in the evening. Never did try the breakfast downstairs even though it was included in the room rate.
- front desk lacking. Had emailed about early check-in, they had no record. Promised a call when room was ready, never got a call.
- had $100 hotel credit that I applied towards a hotel car from the airport. They tried to deny it based on it being a 3rd party provider, but eventually gave in as the charge was on the hotel folio.
- liked the location, bit of a climb up Essex St from the harbor area, not not bad. Easy access to the Rocks as well as L2/L3 on George St.
Would stay again due to view and Horizon Club, but it’s a 4/4.5* place
