Was flying (2 pax, C class, Plat) within Schengen with a transfer at AMS. Originally had a 4 hour layover but was able to get the BP's changed for the first flight out. The GA changing the BP's did mention that there may not be enough catering ... however after boarding the catering truck came by with a special delivery for the extra meals. Amazing how quickly they managed to do that. Our 4 hour layover turned into a <40 min one (Possibly below MCT). Was very happy to have saved that time at AMS.

In the air on the last few flights no recognition whatsoever. On a recent cityhopper flight in C class (Different from the one above) there was another couple that seemed to be well known/connected and they got plenty of extra attention from crew. Including the offer to be up in the cockpit for departure. After arrival they were whisked away with a private car at Schiphol. Still no clue who they were though ...

While perhaps understandable that semi-celebs get extra attention, in this case it affected our service quite a bit. Served last for food and drinks (Even though we were seated in front of them..), not being offered extra bread rolls while the other couple was proactively asked for refils and top-ups. Clearly two Plat pax in C are still nobodies when there's somebody with a higher status on board. Guess its to be expected.. but still. Meh experience.
