For those more familiar with "transiting" in LAX, would you agree with the following approach?
Arriving in TBIT on LX F, having approx. 2 hrs connection time on different tickets and flying out of T1 with WN with no checked luggage.
What I believe to be the quickest way:
1. clear immigration (with MPC app, however, still a reasonable chance of not making it depending on lines),
2. use TBIT Transfer security to be airside again,
3. go up (airside) to departure level within TBIT,
4. use airside Terminal Connector Walk to get to T1.

Am I correct that with the approach described above, I need only to clear TBIT Transfer Security, but not again when arrivig at T1?

Alternatively, I could walk landside to T1 and would need to clear there security there. However, I would prefer to become airside again asap as I could, if time becomes an issue run through the terminal connector passage.
