Experience traveling with elderly parent (thank you SQ)

I had to make a quick and unplanned trip with my mom KUL-SIN recently. My mom struggles to walk and I thought we would need wheelchair assistance but she ultimately decided not to use it. Trip was booked less than 48 hours before flying and they managed to ensure wheelchair assistance was provided on both legs (both check in staff and FAs on both flights were well aware). On board the flight, staff were super kind and kept checking in on my mom. Staff at the Plaza Premium Lounge which SQ uses at KLIA were also amazing.

My mom was apprehensive to make the trip (her first flight since 2019) and everyone we encountered along the way were nothing but kind and went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. Purpose for the trip was not a fun one, so having the actual travel experience be as painless as possible was amazing.

I would not hesitate to book a trip for my mom on SQ again. 💛
