If you were in row 37 it was an A321, and it is currently showing as an A320ceo with only 30 rows, so an aircraft swap rather than anything to do with extending premium seating. Unsurprisingly, given the time of year and down-gauge, it is also showing as pretty full, so not much anyone can do until the airport.
