Hi folks. I've never been to Shenzhen but I'm contemplating staying there vs downtown Hong Kong. My goal is to visit Hong Kong and area; but hotel prices in Shenzhen are much cheaper so ...

How easy / hard is it to take the high-speed rail to / from Shenzhen and the usual places (Central, Admiralty, etc.) on the Hong Kong side?

Similarly, how easy / hard is it to take public transit from hotels in Shenzhen to wherever the HSR train station is?

For the record, I'm trying to decide between the RC, JW Marriott, and that Westin by the amusement park.
