Well, burden of proof is on AA, and if it's true they wouldn't respond at all, that's kind of reprehensible.
And if she can get people to vouch that she's never shown any interest in men--like a parent--that would seem to offer as much defense as any eyewitness would. She could even bring in ex-girlfriends. That would certainly make me doubt AA's account, especially if they weren't able to provide corroborating evidence.
But, as people are implying, it's possible the whole thing is a ploy for attention. We'll probably never know.
