Related issue, I booked a flight with the promo code and didn't select seats during booking as I figured I'd wait to decide which preferred seat to choose, but now seat selection is not free for preferred seat so it seems like you need to select a preferred seat during booking to apply the promo code :/ Will probably call in since the booking should still include a free preferred seat
