From my SQ F flights this month, with the long haul SIN-SYD-SIN-LHR, I still believe that SQ F inflight services are still excellent. I did not feel any doubts at all about what had been discussed in this thread. In those three long haul I took, the FAs were great. For example, I had ordered the BTC Kyo Kaiseki. But I would like to try the seafood soup that was offered in the menu. The FA was so happily serving me this additional request, eventhough the flight in F was full.
The other thing I should mentioned, I did not have to follow the meal times. For my SIN-LHR around noon departure, I asked for lunch to be served immediately after take off, and the FAs were gladly to do so. When I woke up from my nap, it was still almost 4 hours before landing at LHR, but I was quite hungry due to jet lag (about 9pm Bangkok time). I went to the galley and asked for my dinner. And they were gladly serving my meals. Actually another two pax decided to have their meals as well.
As an additional background, I wrote this post two days after I took LH F from BKK-FRA, which was not as great as my SQ flights.
