Not BA but Turkish some years ago. There were only three of us in First, when they operated a few flights a week from LHR to IST using leased Jet Airways 777’s. The service onboard was amazing!
PS Done as a bmi miles redemption just before BA acquired bmi. And IIRC the return flights were whatever the miles were and something like £40 each for Mrs BA or Bust and I.

If you submitted your boarding passes from a redemption flight post travel they would credit you the miles/status as though it was a cash ticket.... the gift that kept on giving.
Little wonder they were hemorrhaging money and needed a buyer 😁
