Actually, no. The majority of TGV trains from Montpellier either (annoyingly) pass non-stop through Lyon Saint
Exupéry en route to Paris Gare de Lyon, or travel through and stop in Lyon Part Dieu (downtown Lyon), en route to various northern destinations (Brussels, Nantes, Strasbourg ...) The only trains direct train from Montpellier that actually stops at the airport station at Saint
Exupéry is the low cost OUIGO train. At the end of September there appears to be one or max two of these per day. There is a frequent tram service,
Rhônexpress, from just outside Lyon Part Dieu, taking 29 minutes to reach the airport at Saint
Exupéry.
