Strike action is unlikely to be covered under APPR since it's "Situation outside airline control"... How about a lock out? That should be within the airlines' control and covered?? or
does it also falls under " a labour disruption within the carrier or within an essential service provider such as an airport or an air navigation service provider", hence "Situation outside airline control"?

I actually have a few important out of my own pocket trips coming in late September... I'm reading through my travel insurance, there isn't a specific clause that cover labour disputes. Should I be worried ?
My trip delay converges are either
"Delay of your common carrier, resulting from the mechanical failure of that carrier, a traffic accident, an emergency police-directed road closure, weather conditions, earthquakes or volcanic eruptions, causing you to miss a connection or resulting in the interruption of your travel arrangements."

or

"Delay of your departure, resulting from the mechanical failure of your common carrier, a traffic accident, an emergency police-directed road closure, weather conditions, or grounding of your air transportation, causing you to miss your scheduled cruise or tour, and no alternative travel arrangements can be made for you to join the cruise or tour."
