You are talking to someone who believes "preferred" seats are basically a big scam. If I don't have more leg room, I'm not paying for it. I get what you are saying, but I doubt the 5 minutes from row 5 to row 20 makes any appreciable difference. It's more just wanting to get out of this metal tube that you have been trapped in for the last several hours.
