-If you can get time, it's only about 30 minutes to the beach, where you can eat by the ocean. Two places I like near my home in Huntington Beach are Dukes' Hawaiian style fish restaurant on the pier with great food and views, and the Californian in the Huntington Beach Hyatt, which won a 4th Diamond last year.
-At the conference centre, you've got the various Disney options. The steakhouse in the Grand Californian hotel is surprisingly good, if slightly overpriced, and is in a gorgeous library style room.
-Finally, you're near some of the largest Korean and Vietnamese communities in the country, and there are some very good restaurants hidden away. If you're interested, I'll check with some of my more knowledgeable colleagues.
