Sucks for those travelling in September, but I would say for those people - good luck, you'll probably be spanked by AC when it comes to rebooking and compensation. I wish I could give AC benefit of the doubt.
Have some domestic travel scheduled for mid to late September and decided not to chance it and just booked PD instead. I'd venture a guess that I am not the only traveller who steered clear with a looming strike.
