Dining options include Joempa, the main restaurant, which brings the essence of West Java to life with dishes like cuanki and batagor, made with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

The Dagoan Lounge offers a warm and inviting space to relax, with design elements inspired by the neighborhood, such as vibrant graffiti and traditional batik ceramics.

Later this year, Karbon, a rooftop restaurant and bar, will open, offering an Asian grill concept with drinks inspired by local heritage.

Additional amenities include Bandung's highest rooftop infinity pool, providing views of Dago Pakar, and the Kancil Club, where children can engage in traditional Sundanese games.

The hotel will also offer nine stylish meeting rooms and a spacious Grand Ballroom, perfect for events ranging from intimate gatherings to large weddings, equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Just a 30-minute high-speed train ride from Jakarta, guests can explore local attractions such as the Taman Hutan Raya Juanda botanical gardens or hike up Tebing Keraton for breathtaking sunrise views. The hotel's central location also provides easy access to Djuanda Forest Park, a conservation area and botanical garden rich in biodiversity.
Impressive marketing!

It's just down the road from the Intercontinental, and provides additional accommodation as a weekend resort, conference centre and wedding venue. Once the prices have settled down I'll try it out - but right now it's being offered at a significant premium to its big brother. The IC has always been one of the very lowest cost properties in the brand's stables, and was fine for a weekend away from Jakarta,

Dago Pakar is OK for tours and treks, but not at all convenient for Bandung itself: the city is easily a thirty minute drive away. For Bandung proper, the best IHG option is the very central Crowne Plaza, with the Holiday Inn a reasonable alternative.

The "30 minutes from Jakarta" in the marketing blurb skirts around the HSR not serving Bandung station, The train transfers passengers to buses or commuter rail services at Padalarang or bus shuttles at Tegalluar. Bandung and Dago Pakar are well over an hour's drive from these stations.
