I have an unused United ticket from last December where I flew EWR to DXB, but canceled the return. That flight credit tied to that PNR and I've tried many times, but have been unable to use that credit for anything asides returning from Europe or Asia. Has anyone had any luck whatever getting this credit converted to a travel certificate or future flight credit? Right now I've been able to re-book only as a one way return DXB-EWR, but if I cancel that the ticket just stays with the original PNR. I've tried modifying it and talking to agents - no luck at all. Any help would be great.
