I am afraid that this maybe true for all flights except this one. I am not sure if you're aware, but travelling to Turkmenistan is a bit like North Korea. They would need to validate my letter of invitation (I am assuming). Without it, I can't get a visa on arrival in Ashgabat....
However, if you do experience specifically with this scenario, i take it all back, and hopefully somehow I could go through transit.
