Boeing? now? Have people been following the news?
I think 10-15 years ago CX have figured the mid haul frames are good with A330 (At the same time 340s all were going away - on CX and others). And how did Boeing fare with the alternative?
330s can cover the entire middle east, india, aus and NZ if needed. All they need is to throw in LH product from some of the frames.
Unless something major happens, 787s aren't coming to CX. And CX is probably dealing with a product producer for the A350s after what happened to their seat now... Before then, they aren't committing anything in open air.
