I'm Diamond select aswell got a status match some years ago and they never changed my status, even though I basically never stay with them.

Edit: forgot one other valuable perk I can cancel until 21:00 on day of arrival without penalties.
I almost used them last time but the problem with Strawberry hotels is that the locations are too central = paid parking. I'm driving so central location doesn't mean anything to me.
