CI has priced quite well these days and their prices are not a bargain, so I doubt they will need to bump you (especially this is not peak summer in Australia).

Anyway an update. All economy and premium economy is sold out on our flight now. 3 days out until we fly out. There still seems to be 10 plus business class seats still available on the flight.
If you are curious it is 18th of August (CI54) Bne to Tpe. So i will call CI to cancel the kids meal.
