This is mostly true. There are a handful of non-renovated rooms on the top floor of the Ipanema Tower, and I believe they are all attached to suites. They have nice layouts (large rooms, some with two full baths) but look like something out of an early 80's Bond movie: black poster bed, mustard chaise loungers, pinkish-orange carpet everywhere, even in the sink part of the bathroom. I made the mistake of asking for a room on the top floor instead of a renovated room on the top floor, but moved when I saw it in person.
