Checked out today — I think this is among, if not the best, Cat 1-4 in Europe/NA
I know a lot has been discussed about the hotel, but some other thoughts:
- As a data point, reception proactively said Globalist breakfast is in Vox or the Club (and then realized we were on a Prive rate and told us just to eat double)
- The 30 euro voucher for no upgrade is a pretty decent deal. You're basically trading a sitting room for a free lunch; it fully covered two drinks, sandwiches, and desserts in the hotel cafe.
- Always impressed by a hotel that still runs a true turndown service, it feels like so many of the brands that did it scrapped it post-COVID — housekeeping as a whole was a real strength during our stay
