Where? At Radisson? Their points are already useless and just give a fixed discount. But being an elite member you can choose "discount booster" option which gives you additional 10% discount while earning fewer (useless) point. This is the way to go - I've saved incredible amount of money with this, much more valuable than points in any hotel programme.
The devaluation is for all of us existing VIP members with every John and Jane (i.e. every Eurobonus Gold member) getting it for free, we can kiss upgrades goodbye. YEah new program more or less sucks except for discount. Also no incentives beyond 30 nights a year is plain silly for a "top level" but here we are. As the saying goes, if everybody is elite nobody is elite.
