Yes, excellent stay.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked cheapest rate and was upgraded to 1 Bedroom Suite Lake View.

How are the rooms?
Around 100sqm large.

Living room with seating area and desk.

Bedroom with bed and armchair.
Very comfortable bed.

Impressive bathroom with bathtub area and superb panoramic view, separate walk-in shower.
Byredo Blanche toiletries.
Dyson hairdryer.
Additional guests toilets.

Flat screen television set with good selection of international channels, including HBO, Cinema and TV5 Monde
No Chromecast.

Lavazza coffee machine. Kettle.
Usb and power sockets next to the bed and desk.

Very quiet. Superb view over the city and lake.

Efficient air conditioning despite high summer temperatures.

How is the exec. lounge?
Excellent service and very good food offer.

Large seating area with panoramic view.
Meeting room.

Dining area.

Despite the air conditioning being on full blast, with the large bay window, the temperature close to the windows can be hot.

On less busy days, breakfast is served in the main restaurant (which means less peace and quiet, although the service is very efficient).

The staff are really charming and attentive. The level of English is poor, so it's best to use a digital translator.

What was good and what was bad?

GOOD
- Very attentive staff
- Central and convenient location
- Nice suite with superb view
- Excellent club lounge
- Very nice indoor pool (outdoor pool is unfortunately closed)

BAD
- Nothing

Value for $ or IHG One Rewards Club? Would you return?
The hotel is very pleasant indeed and I loved the city of Nanjing, for its atmosphere.
