The old configuration is a flat lay down seat 2-2-2 so I always take the aisle now doing the middle so no one needs to cross over me. I do not use the IFE as I sleep on the way down and use my own tablet coming north. Ya it's old, ya most people including the crew are not use to it, but I am enjoying this nostalgic experience. It's like flying LH J on the A340!
I agree, I prefer this configuration in PY over the Colin's PY/J offering on the YYZ/YUL - BOG route as I can actually sleep during the red-eye flights. But on the other hand, I've flown on a few of them, and the interior on most of them are breaking apart. I remember on FIN948, seat 3H has the footwell covered in duct-tape and I remember seeing a few of the tables being slanted so people had to hold on to the tray to enjoy their meal.
Other than those issues, I sleep "slightly" better in these FINs than I do on the Signature 333s, since my feet aren't crammed together.
