agree even if one goes at height of tourist season and a big plus is the lobster is FRESH straight from the water which makes a big difference.

Also I personally don't care if I could get a 2lb lobster tail for $10, IF repeat IF it is warm water lobster as warm water just is not good imo, it doesn't hold a candle to cold water.

On a side note, on the big Island they have Kona lobsters which are Maine lobster fry shipped to the big island and raised w/COLD seawater pumped from the deep, quite delicious but not as good as a Maine lobster.

As far as lobster deals in Chicago area, Supreme Lobster in Villa Park has a website with a 10% coupon off of stuff one can buy in their store on North Ave. Pappadeaux has Thursday lobster nights for a decent price, I don't recall offhand what it is.
